Hello world!

I’ve finally taken the plunge and gotten my blog up and running…..well, maybe I’m just learning to walk right now, but at least I’m moving forward!

Today I want to share these cute little treat boxes that I made for my grandson’s soccer team. Since his “treat day” fell on Halloween weekend I thought I’d make them a little special.

The boys all seemed to enjoy this special treat….especially the squishy eyeballs that stick to the wall when you throw them…..BOYS!!!!

I used Close To My Heart’s Mischief paper pack for the door hanger and Colonial White cardstock for the label. Both were cut using our fabulous new Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. I stamped an image from the “Wicked” stamp set, which was August’s Stamp of the Month, using Gray Wool ink. I then did a little edge distressing and added some glimmer mist, and adhered the label with foam tape. Since our papers are now 100# cardstock weight, they are perfect for all of the adorable boxes and 3-D elements on the AP cartridge!

I wrapped a strip of background & texture paper around the water bottle and added a cute label cut from another of the Mischief papers.

Thanks to fellow CTMH consultant Dawn Felgar for this fun idea. I received a similar gift from her at convention in July.

If you missed out on the Wicked stamp of the month in August and would like to have one, I still have 1 or 2 available
